1/17/25 - Edison High School senior Shannon Heiner shot the lights out and her teammate, Sarah Chawki, put on a show in their team's 67-24 win.

Heiner scored 22 points in the first half, including four 3-pointers in the first quarter. Her teammate Chawki, did not score as much but her aggressive defense, drives to the basket, and passing, including a beautiful behind the back pass, was too much for Annandale High School to handle. Edison was up 39-16 at halftime.

Edison’s Giselle Hunter, who is just a freshman, scored 11 points and played as aggressive as a freshman can play. She is certain to be a big factor for Edison in the future. Kennedy Marshall added 10 points for Edison.

Annandale was led by Megan Murray who chipped in eight points.
