ROBINSON RAMS CRUISE PAST YORKTOWN

Article |

12/27/25 – Behind a standout performance from sophomore London Augustin and a relentless man-to-man defensive effort, the Robinson Rams defeated the Yorktown Patriots, 50–38.

After a tightly contested first quarter, Robinson gradually asserted control, extending its lead throughout the game and pulling ahead by 14 points by the end of the third quarter. Yorktown freshman Elizabeth Porter kept the Patriots within striking distance for much of the night, knocking down five three-pointers in an impressive shooting performance.

Augustin, however, proved to be the difference. She finished with a game-high 16 points, repeatedly creating space with step-back jumpers that helped Robinson maintain its advantage from start to finish.

Madison Coutinho and Parker Lowden each added nine points for the Rams, while senior Sara Abdi provided a spark off the bench, scoring 10 points in a strong all-around effort.

For Yorktown, Porter’s outside shooting led the way with fifteen points, and junior Olivia Shipplet chipped in 10 points in the loss.
